Community Readiness Assessment

Every serious project faces serious questions. The Community Readiness Assessment tells you what those questions will be, and whether the conditions for a productive answer exist, before you invest in an approach.

The assessment is built on structured analysis of the community’s public record: development history, institutional trust, fairness perceptions, how decisions get made and who gets heard, and how the community understands itself. That record, read carefully, is a more reliable guide than a snapshot survey. It tells you not just what people say, but why they’ll say it.

You receive a readiness profile with a written analysis of the conditions driving it, an honest read on where concern stands today, and a staged recommendation on whether, when, and how to engage. Sometimes the recommendation is to proceed. Sometimes it’s to sequence differently. Sometimes it’s to choose a different site. You get the answer the evidence supports.

The assessment is designed to stand alone. You can execute its recommendations with Open Door or with any qualified strategic communications or engagement firm. Available at two depths: a rapid screen delivered in two to three weeks, or a full site-level assessment delivered in six to eight.
